About the Learnership
Idwala Industrial Holdings invites unemployed youth to apply for Engineering Learnership Opportunities at its
Carbonates Operation in the Northern Cape. This programme offers practical training and workplace exposure in heavy industry, preparing candidates for a future in engineering trades.

Instrument Mechanician
Fitter
Electrician
Boilermaker
Minimum Requirements
Matric with Mathematics and English (minimum 40%). Physical Science will be an added advantage.
N2 with 4/5 subject passes in the specific discipline OR NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade.
Must be unemployed and between the ages of 18-35.
Must be medically fit in terms of MHSA 29 of 1996.
South African citizenship (preference for applicants from Port Shepstone).
Key Responsibilities
Be prepared to work in a mining and heavy industrial environment.
Willing to work shifts where applicable.
Commit to safety, teamwork, and personal development.
Successfully complete the medical fitness assessment (certificate required)
