1. Purpose of the Role
This learnership provides the learner with exposure to both classroom learning and on-the-job experience. The goal is to help the learner qualify as an Artisan at NQF Level 3 or 4, meeting the requirements of Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine. The program ensures both on-the-job and off-the-job training are aligned for success.
2. Key Responsibilities
Follow all legal requirements outlined in the learning agreement.
Understand the trade, learn and apply skills, and contribute to the employer’s productivity.
Take charge of your own training; ask questions and seek knowledge.
Demonstrate required skills and competencies within a 3-year period.
Undergo training that includes both job-specific tasks and classroom instruction.
3. Minimum Qualifications
Grade 12 with Maths and Natural Science, or
N2 Certificate (4 trade-specific subjects)

Ability to communicate effectively in English
